Lion roars with new flavors

Marshmallows go well with hot cocoa. That much we know. But what about coffee?

To evoke childhood memories of campfires and s'mores, Lion Coffee has blended this unlikely flavor into its new "Toasted Marshmallow Creme," which tastes a lot better than it sounds. Two flavors launched in the company's first-ever summer series on June 1 include Island Grogg -- packed with rum and coconut flavors -- and Almond Dobash, replete with the aromas of chocolate and almonds.

The new series is available in all major retail outlets, but don't wait too long to sample. Lion roasted a limited number of cases for the entire state.

"When the summer blends are gone, they're gone," said Lion Coffee CEO Jim Wayman. "We're constantly developing new blends to meet the evolving tastes of our gourmet coffee customers."

Prices at major retail outlets range from $3.99 to $5.99 for a 10 oz. bag. Mail order prices are higher. For more information or orders, visit www.lioncoffee.com, or call 800-338-8353.
