On a seawall in Waikiki, Anita Flores, left, Clara Gonzales and Gayleen Whyte, in back, reacted in different ways yesterday as spray from a crashing wave shot up in front of them. A swell that arrived along south shores Sunday was still providing waves for surfers -- and with the expected arrival of another south swell later this week, surfers can expect waves through the weekend.

What started off as a sunny day suddenly turned cloudy and rainy yesterday afternoon. The downpour caught these tourists at Kaneohe Bay, causing them to don raincoats as they walked to buses after getting off a tour boat at Heeia Kea Boat Harbor.
