Also, a $50 million appropriation for a new school construction fund mentioned in the article actually did not survive late-session negotiations between lawmakers.
» Wayne Hashiro is the city's acting managing director who has been nominated for the permanent position. A Page A3 article Friday incorrectly said the position was vacant, and did not mention that he is serving as the acting managing director currently.
» Ke'eaumoku Kapu was not a member of the Hokule'a crew that sailed to Pacific islands, although he has worked with the group. A Page A3 article Monday incorrectly identified him as a crew member.
» A photo on Page A2 yesterday of the Student Transition Convention failed to mention the organizer. It was Adult Friends for Youth.
