Gem of a trunk show
Shasa Emporium at Kahala Mall will hold an in-store trunk show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, featuring the store debut of the En Soleil jewelry line from Jewelry by Cari.
Designer Cari Streeter's creations use a specially designed detachable clasp to make them interchangeable. All the jewelry is made of gemstones set in silver or 24-karat gold vermeil, with solid gold available by special order. During trunk-show hours, shoppers will receive a gift with any Jewelry by Cari purchase.
Jewelry by Cari designs have captured the attention of celebrities and women of all ages and backgrounds. In 2004 the original "Water Necklace" was chosen by BMG Music to be given to 250 celebrities, including Christina Aguilera, Sharon Stone and Paris Hilton, at the Grammy Awards. And in 2005 the collection was seen on the runway at San Francisco Fashion Week.
