Talent manager Jeanilou Grace Torrado, third from left, celebrated backstage with models Ashley Logan, left, Chieko Roberts and Naomi Cooper after their final show in "The Women's Closet," a combination clothing sale and fashion preview at the O Lounge on April 23. The club filled up fast as many bargain-conscious women arrived promptly at 11 a.m. for the best selection of designer fashions, jewelry and imported purses. The $15 ticket price included champagne cocktails, gourmet pupus, and a series of runway shows previewing new items styles ranging from lingerie to casual party attire. O Lounge owner Liz Watanabe plans to have "Closet 2" in September. CLICK FOR LARGE

ConTempo 2006 was only the preliminary party for Kainoa Lee, right, on April 22 as he hosted a midnight "penthouse warming" party at his new residence in the Queen Victoria Condominium on Beretania Street. Lee closed escrow on the 2,500-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath penthouse a month early so that he could move in April 21, in time to hold a party after ConTempo2006. Ryan MacLaughlin, left, had removed his tie but otherwise was still in formal attire when he stepped off the elevator into Lee's private foyer. Fashion conscious Joey Caldarone took time to change into something more casual.

ENJOYING CHEMISTRY

Dave Goddard, left, and Anthony Nelson welcomed former Miss Hawaii USA Jennifer Fairbanks to "Chemistry," a new event by veteran party promoter Matty Liu that filled Longhi's to capacity on April 22. Fairbanks arrived later than expected, but once Liu learned she was downstairs a cautious doorman was quickly instructed to let her in. Judging from the size of the crowd that came out for the first night of "Chemistry," Liu has put Longhi's back on the map as a hot place to party.

GOOD CHEMISTRY

Kaleikina Akaka, left, Derin DeRego, Summer Jensen and Pussycat Lounge promoter Flash Hansen stopped by Longhi's to show their support for Matty Liu's new twice-monthly event. The foursome didn't get there until almost 1 a.m. but the crowd was still almost wall-to-wall. Liu presents "Chemistry" again at Longhi's on May 13. CLICK FOR LARGE
