4 teams get byes in OIA basketball

Division champions Radford (11-1) from the West and Roosevelt (11-1) from the East received first-round byes into the Oahu Interscholastic Association girls basketball tournament.

The tournament starts Thursday with four games and continues on Friday.

The OIA is in the process of making the rest of the tournament schedule, which resumes next week.

The two second-place teams, Kalaheo (9-3) from the East and Mililani (9-3) from the West, also received first-round byes.

Moanalua vs Kapolei, 5 p.m.

Leilehua vs. Farrington, 7 p.m.

At Kahuku H.S. gym

Pearl City vs. Kaiser, 5 p.m.

Kahuku vs. Campbell, 7 p.m.

FRIDAY

At Radford H.S. gym

Kalaheo vs. Leilehua/Farrington winner, 5 p.m.

Radford vs. Moanalua/Kapolei winner, 7 p.m.

At Roosevelt H.S. gym

Mililani vs. Kahuku/Campbell winner, 5 p.m.

Roosevelt vs. Kaiser/Pearl City winner, 7 p.m.
