Police have released surveillance images of three unrelated bank robberies that occurred within two hours Friday afternoon. (See graphic, at bottom.)
About 4:37 p.m.:
A man described as in his 30s, 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds enters the Bank of Hawaii at 1441 Kapiolani Blvd. brandishing a handgun.
About 5:20 p.m.:
A man described as in his 20s, 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds enters the Central Pacific Bank on N. King St. in Kalihi. Police said no weapon was seen.
About 5:48 p.m.:
A man described as in his 20s, 5-foot-8, with a slim build enters the American Savings Bank on Meheula Parkway in Mililani. Police say a pocketknife was observed.

At about 4:37 p.m. a man entered Bank of Hawaii, 1441 Kapiolani Blvd., and brandished a handgun, demanding money from the teller. Police said he fled on foot into Ala Moana Center with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police described the suspect as a man in his 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with a slim build and black, crew-cut hair. They said he was wearing a yellow-and-green aloha shirt and black-framed prescription glasses at the time of the robbery. A black handgun was also seen.
Within an hour a second bank robbery occurred at Central Pacific Bank, 2119 N. King St. in Kalihi. Police said a man entered the bank at about 5:20 p.m. and demanded money. No weapon was seen. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Police described the suspect as a man in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with a slim build, dark hair and a fair complexion. The suspect was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and a nylon stocking over his face.
A third bank robbery occurred at the American Savings Bank in Mililani, 95-1249 Meheula Parkway, at about 5:48 p.m. Police said a man walked into the bank brandishing a pocketknife. He demanded money from the teller and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police described the suspect as a man in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a slim build and a fair complexion. The suspect was wearing a fake beard, light-blue shirt and pants, and a white baseball cap at the time of the robbery.
