Meadow Gold is searching for an heir apparent for the crown of Healthy Baby, to take over from reigning baby Emma Baron, now 2 and not so much a baby anymore.
Registration for 53rd annual Healthy Baby Contest begins tomorrow, with the contest to be held June 24 to July 9 at Pearlridge Center. Entrants must be Hawaii residents born between Dec. 9, 2003, and Jan. 9, 2005. Prizes include a $2,500 savings bond.

Dinner showcases Belgian beers
John Heckathorn, Star-Bulletin columnist and host of the radio show "Heckathorn's Hot Plate," hosts a beer-pairing dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at J at the Willows.
Chef Jay Matsukawa's four courses will each be matched with a Belgian or Belgian-style ale chosen by Andy Baker, "The Beer Dude," an expert on craft and European beers who hosts beer tastings at the Willows and Bar 35.
The menu: Duo of Aku (Grilled Aku Nigiri Sushi and Smoked Aku Pâté, paired with Unibroue Blanche De Chambly), King Crab Fritters (with North Coast Brewing Pranqster Ale), Dual Entree of Porcini Mushroom Veal and Lamb Au Poivre (with Bornem Triple Ale) and Bittersweet Chocolate Bread Pudding (with Lindeman's Framboise).
"Heckathorn's Hot Plate" airs on 1420 AM at noon weekdays and on 1080 AM at 6 p.m. His column -- "What the Heck?" -- can be found in the A section of today's paper.
Cost of the dinner is $60, $55 for members of the Willows Beer Club. J at the Willows is upstairs at the Willows Restaurant, 901 Hausten St. Call 952-9200.
Sergio's celebrates
Sergio's Italian Restaurant makes it four-for-four-for-44 -- celebrating its fourth anniversary at the Hilton Hawaiian Village with a four-course dinner costing $44, served all through the fourth month of the year.
Dinner includes an Absolut cocktail or champagne.
Chef Marc Anthony's menu selections include Calamari Siciliana, Risotto con Grancchio (with blue crabmeat) and Pork Scallopina Perugina.

Next Generation Dinner: April 25 at Alan Wong's King Street restaurant. Chef Wade Ueoka's menu includes Grilled Day Boat Scallops (paired with Muller Thurgau, Paul Furst, 2004), Seafood Curry "Oden" (with Scheurebe Kabinett 2004) and Tasting of North Shore Cattle Co. Beef (with Ridge Lytton Springs Zinfandel 2003). Dessert by Cainan Sabey is a trio of chocolates and sorbets. Cost is $65, $90 with wines. Call 949-2526.
