One of the newest additions to downtown Honolulu makes its presence felt this weekend, with a night of Hawaiian-style jazz and steel guitar.

Brittni Paiva (below), Owana Salazar and Jeff Peterson will all perform songs off their latest albums. A number of special guests, including Nathan Aweau and Bruddah Smitty, will also be in attendance. The concert will conclude with a special kanikapila finale.

Jawaiian fans have the chance to see some of Hawaii's up-and-coming bands throughout the month of April at Bliss Nightclub.

Slydah Surf presents "Battle at the Bliss," which kicks off this weekend and concludes with a final showdown on April 22.

Katch-Ah-Vibe and Rebel Soljahs are the first two bands to square off. This one's for the college crowd; 18-and-over welcome.
