While most of yesterday's heavy showers were situated over Kauai, parts of Oahu also got drenched. James Bashford, Aaron Antone and Ali Nakasono found a dry spot yesterday afternoon at a Kahuku bus stop. Kahuku got nearly two inches of rain between 2 and 5 p.m. yesterday. Stormy skies over Oahu will continue today, with locally heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms expected, the National Weather Service said. The threat of heavy rain extends through the weekend.
