Last year: Kenny Perry won when Vijay Singh hit a 7-iron off the rocks and into the water on the 18th hole en route to a double bogey. Singh tied for second with Graeme McDowell. Perry skipped his title defense to have knee surgery Monday.
Last week: Luke Donald won the Honda Classic for his second PGA Tour title, finishing with a 3-under 69 for a two-stroke victory over Geoff Ogilvy.

Last year: Annika Sorenstam won her fourth straight LPGA Tour start, making up four strokes in the last three holes and beating Lorena Ochoa on the first playoff hole.
Last week: Sorenstam successfully defended her MasterCard Classic title in Mexico, beating Helen Alfredsson and Seon Hwa Lee by a stroke. Sorenstam has 67 career LPGA Tour victories -- 21 short of Kathy Whitworth.

Last week: Tom Kite won his first Champions Tour title since 2004, beating Gil Morgan by five strokes in the AT&T Classic in Santa Clarita.
