A GIRLS' NIGHT OUT AT "TWO"

It was "girls' night out" for Rebecca Fernandes, left, Cathy Harden, Elika Otoya, Sarah Fowler and Nicole Carvahlo as they enjoyed the upscale vibe of "Two" at Palomino on Saturday. The promoters -- Flash Hansen and Matty "Matty Boy" Hazelgrove -- presented the first "Two" party last fall and then put the event on hold until last weekend. Several partyers on Saturday said they thought that the lack of a regular "monthly" schedule sets "Two" apart from all the other restaurant/nightclub parties. Fernandes said that Otoya got engaged recently, but they'd all agreed to "leave the boys at home" and go to "Two."

Lillian Adams, left, and her daughter, Christie, congratulated Art Todd as he celebrated his 92nd birthday at the Elks Club on Sunday. Todd was a few years younger than his long-time friends, Martin Denny and Del Courtney. Although they're both deceased he found that being 92 didn't make him the oldest person at the party . "I was born in December (1913), "Lillian told him. "I still have seniority."

DINNER AT TIFFANY'S

Jake Gardner, center, and Pamela South, fourth from left, were the guests of honor as Hawaii Opera Theatre celebrated the success of "Tosca" with a party at Tiffany Waikiki on Sunday. South and Gardner were perfectly matched -- she in the title role, he as the evil Scarpia -- and their big scene in Act II was a dramatic highlight. "Tosca" was memorable for HOT board member James McCoy because it was his debut on stage, albeit in a non-singing role. "Tosca" director Karen Tiller, left, and board member Karen Char also enjoyed the party at Tiffany's.
