Honolulu Festival performers wow crowds
DENNIS ODA / DODA@STARBULLETIN.COM
An Ala Moana Centerstage audience enjoyed live music, dance and demonstrations featuring performers from Japan and the Pacific yesterday as part of the 12th Annual Honolulu Festival. Koudo Yatsufusa of the Japan Nankin Tamasudare Association spun his umbrella to make his box rotate on top of it. His group is from Kobe, Japan. The festival continues today with music and dance performances from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Center and DFS Galleria, and a Grand Parade down Kalakaua Avenue from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
