DENNIS ODA / DODA@STARBULLETIN.COM
Donning traditional dress, Aiea High School senior Michael Donato got a lift in a chair, a sign of respect by the Formosa Aboriginal Cultural Village from the Republic of China (Taiwan), yesterday at the Hawai'i Convention Center. Donato and his classmates joined a dance by the group, which represents Taiwanese aborigines. About 300 students got to preview performances in the 12th Annual Honolulu Festival, which runs through tomorrow.
