TALKING 'TOSCA': Hawaii Opera Theatre director Karen Tiller greeted multifaceted actor Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa during the dress rehearsal of "Tosca" in the Blaisdell Concert Hall on Monday. Tagawa, low profile as always, skipped the pre-show VIP reception and slipped into the hall after the show started. "Tosca" opens tonight.

SMART CELEBRATES: The "SMART Girls" -- Amy Alston, left, Sarah Honda and Molly Watanabe -- celebrated SMART Magazine's first anniversary Saturday at "SKYLiNE" at the Hanohano Room. Nightclub events come and go, but "SKYLiNE" was as crowded and classy as ever as the "girls" and their friends partied.
