Luxury jet takes off
Island Air is spreading its wings beyond the Hawaiian skies with a new luxury jet charter service allowing Hawaii travelers to book their own private intercontinental corporate jet to any destination worldwide.
Service begins with a limousine pick-up and the jet can accommodate up to nine passengers served by a flight crew and flight attendant. The Bombardier Challenger business jet features a galley, six plush leather recliners and a three-place settee that converts to a twin bed.

Welcome to Lavaman
Hilton Waikoloa Village is offering a special room rate for participants in the 9th annual Lavaman Triathlon taking place April 2 on the Big Island.
The resort is offering a rate of $189 plus tax per night to those participating in the Olympic distance race that includes a 1.5K swim, 40K bike ride and 10K run, starting at 7:30 a.m. at Anaehoomalu Bay, Waikoloa. Hilton Waikoloa Village is located next to the race start and finish and makes an ideal resort location to lounge pre- and post-race with friends and family. Awards, entertainment and a buffet spread will round out a fun-filled post-race party celebration and beach barbeque hosted on the premises.
To qualify for the rate, guests must be registered for the race. Rates are based on availability and are valid Match 27 to April 6, 2006.

Molokai 'mo ono'
Staying at The Lodge & Beach Village at Molokai Ranch will be "mo ono" for Hawaii residents thanks to a kamaaina-only package combining accommodations and meals.
Available through Dec. 20, 2006, the "Molokai Mo Ono" package provides The Beach Village guests with breakfast, lunch and dinner per person per day at the Kaupoa Dining Pavilion, while The Lodge guests enjoy a $60 dining credit per person per day for use at the Lodge's Maunaloa Room or Paniolo Bar.
Package rates start from $318 per night at The Beach Village and $348 per night at The Lodge. Rates are based on double occupancy. There is an additional nightly fee of $105 per third or fourth person at The Beach Village and $119 per person at The Lodge. Rates are subject to availability, gratuities and a daily resort fee. Proof of Hawaii residency is required.
