Boston couple marks 50th anniversary with kids here

SERGIO AND MARY CLIVIO came here from Boston to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and to visit their daughter Andrea Kia, and son John Clivio and their families. Another of the Clivios' seven children, Kay-Kay, lived here before moving to Hong Kong. She returned for the anniversary party that Andrea and John threw Feb. 18. Two other Clivio children, Kristine Papozzoli and David Clivio, came from the mainland with their families for the celebration. Music was by Mona and Ethylene Teves and Tau Grieg. Mary is a vice president of the Garden, the entertainment and sports center that was called Boston Garden before it was sold and rebuilt. It's still the home of the Celtics and Bruins. T&C says about $2.3 million was raised for Bette's New York Restoration Project ...

Sheraton's food and beverage staff was in top form and the servers looked sharp in their crisp uniforms. Music by vocalist Ginai Johnston and the Honolulu Jazz Quartet had the dance floor crowded ... Ginai has come out with a groovy jazz album. Besides her pipes, another reason for the success of "Jazz Island" is the strong backing by HJQ's John Kolivas on bass, pianist Daniel Del Negro, drummer Adam Baron, Tim Tsukiyama on sax, and guest guitarist Robert Shinoda. Tim particularly stands out on the CD ...
