Surfers enjoyed the big waves yesterday at Pipeline on the North Shore. According to the National Weather Service, surf from the current northwest swell will drop below the 15-foot advisory level by today. A smaller northwest swell is expected Sunday. There will be a small increase in tradewind swell beginning Sunday. Surf along north-facing shores was 14 to 16 feet yesterday but is expected to decrease to 8 to 10 feet today.
