Iolani is creeping up on ILH leader

Kawika Shoji scored 12 points to lead 12 Raiders who scored as No. 2 Iolani moved within a game of No. 1 Kamehameha for the Interscholastic League of Honolulu lead with a 57-28 victory over Mid-Pacific last night at Iolani.
Vinny Nip added two 3-pointers and eight points and freshman Liloa Nobriga had seven points as Iolani (9-2) heads into a showdown with Kamehameha (10-1) tomorrow night at Iolani in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Sililo Pale had nine points and Marcus Holyfield added seven as the Owls converted just eight field goals the entire game.
