Things were cooking at the VIP reception for the renovated Servco Home & Appliance Showroom in Mapunapuna Tuesday night. Chef Martin Yan, of the award-winning PBS show "Yan Can Cook," impressed guests with his culinary skills and humor. More than 200 guests attended, including Servco Chairman Mark Fukunaga, company President Eric Fukunaga and Sens. Donna Mercado Kim and Norman Sakamoto. What's more, his hard-hitting on-air comments and disappointment over the large number of layoffs made by KHON's new owner, which were followed by some key employee resignations, are interesting. As for "24," the anti-terrorist action series is as thrilling as ever with
