Franklin told the audience, "We put too much emphasis on nomenclature and not enough on respect. ... I want to talk about (respectful) treatment." Sonia Rosa Nakada talked music and promotion strategies for her upcoming Sony International album, "Diva," with record producer Cesar Mariano during an intimate midnight dinner party Jan. 23 at her East Honolulu residence. Nakada enjoys cooking so she personally prepared almost all the food except for the Beluga caviar and the sushi. Her international production team -- musicians and tech staffers from Brazil, Japan and the United States -- moved into Avex Honolulu Studio and got to work later that morning. Additional production work for the $2 million project is being done in Los Angeles.
