A romantic dinner amid the fishes
You've got to give them points for the clever name: "Seaduction." That's what the Waikiki Aquarium is calling its Valentine's Day dinner, served amid candlelight and such gossamer creatures as moon jellies and sea dragons.
Tables are available for just 36 couples, set up throughout the galleries next to such exhibits as the new "Ocean Drifters" or "Hunters of the Reef." Tables in specific areas can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cost is $300 per couple, benefiting the Waikiki Aquarium's future Northwestern Hawaiian Islands exhibit.
A three-course dinner will be prepared by Sam Choy's Diamond Head, centering on an entree of Red Wine-Braised Short Ribs and Macadamia Nut Crusted Fish. Perrier Jouet Grand Brut Champagne will be served to begin the meal.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. Call 923-9741, ext. 3.
