Sea Warriors shoot down Eagles
Audrius Peciukas scored 29 points to lead five Hawaii Pacific players in double figures as the Sea Warriors defeated Florida Gulf Coast 92-77 last night in an NCAA Division II nonconference game at the Blaisdell Arena.
Finis Harwell and Adam Reinking scored 16 each for Hawaii Pacific (4-13), and Donnell Dobbins added 12. Joseph Ison had a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists as the Sea Warriors shot 57 percent (35 of 61) from the field.
Peciukas made 13 of 17 shots from the field.
Leon Woodstock finished with 20 points to lead four Eagles in double figures. Gabe Pean scored 18, Beau Bauer 11 and Marcus Watts finished with 10.
Florida Gulf Coast (10-8) plays at Brigham Young-Hawaii tomorrow night, and Hawaii Pacific hosts Chaminade on Wednesday night at the Blaisdell.
