Okesene Ale Jr. continued his tear in Oahu Interscholastic Association East basketball by putting up 28 points as No. 5 Kahuku defeated Castle 54-41 last night at the Kahuku gym.

With the win, the Red Raiders remain perfect in the league at 6-0, tied with Moanalua atop the division standings. Moanalua's scheduled game against Kalaheo last night was postponed because the backboards in the Menehunes' gym couldn't be lowered.

Ale spaced out his points, scoring 15 points in the first half and 13 in the second. The senior had eight of the Red Raiders' 20 second-quarter points as Kahuku took a commanding 15-point lead at the half.

The Red Raiders also made 14 steals and forced 22 Castle turnovers.
