Movies opening this Friday:
"Glory Road": This is the true story of the 1966 Texas Western basketball team, the first African-American squad, coached by Don Haskins, to make the NCAA finals, and beat Adolph Rupp's all-white University of Kentucky team in the championship game. Josh Lucas, Derek Luke and Emily Deschanel star. (University of Hawaii basketball fans might remember Haskins as coach of the University of Texas at El Paso team when they were still members of the Western Athletic Conference.) (PG)
"Hoodwinked": Detectives try to unravel the mystery at Granny's house in a new satirical, animated take on "Little Red Riding Hood." Anne Hathaway, Glenn Close, James Belushi, Anthony Anderson and Patrick Warburton lend their voices. (PG)
"Last Holiday": Queen Latifah stars as a shy woman diagnosed with a fatal illness who decides to let loose on a European vacation. (PG-13)
