Fran and Fred Duhaylonsod played traditional Filipino music on the porch of the Filipino House in the Hawaii Plantation Village yesterday during the "Relive the Plantation Days 2006" event in Waipahu. On the first Saturday of each month, Plantation Village focuses on a particular ethnic group that worked and lived on early-1900s plantations. Events kicked off yesterday with a focus on Puerto Rican heritage that featured cooking demonstrations and games.
