DJ Jesse Saunders
10 p.m. at Indigo. Cover: $10. Call 521-2900.
Considered by many to be the primary architect of modern-day house, DJ Jesse Saunders headlines "Get Fresh!" at Indigo this week.
When Saunders released "On & On" in 1984, little did he know it would lead to more than two decades of touring and follow-up albums. He also appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with remixes of Eamon's "F- It" and R. Kelly's "Step in the Name of Love."
Also spinning Friday at Indigo: DJs G-Spot, Mark Chittom, Jahson the 45 Revolver, Eskae and Sovern-T.
Saturday
"Surfest"

Spend your Saturday in the sun, as Hawaiian Hurricane Productions and Island 98.5 present the fourth annual "Surfest" at Kualoa Ranch.
Reggae artist Eek-A-Mouse and Anberlin are the only acts without Hawaii ties; No Bare Feet and National Product used to live out here before moving to the mainland.
Local bands Go Jimmy Go, Neken, Natural Vibrations, Ooklah the Moc, Red Degree and Olivia will also perform, and there will be Moto-X demonstrations throughout the day.
Monday
Less than Jake
6 p.m. at Pipeline Cafe. Tickets: $25 and $45. Call 589-1999.
Ska band Less than Jake lands in Honolulu on Monday for an all-ages show at Pipeline Cafe. It's been 11 years since their debut album, "Pezcore," hit music store shelves.
