Noise ends 'Love of God' filming here

"Lost" had its Christmas party last Saturday at the Waikiki Hyatt's Deep Blue jazz supper club. Sources attending said it's "mum on the set" with "nobody talking" about recent DUI arrests for actors Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros.
On Nov. 1, Rodriguez was cited for speeding out Wahiawa-way, allegedly traveling 83 mph in a 55-mph zone. Rodriguez and Watros' DUI hearing is Dec. 29 in Kaneohe District Court.
Rodriguez is featured in the December issue of Un Chin, a Hispanic magazine. Vanity Fair's January issue features a two-page spread of the "Lost" cast, including the "tailies."

Kimee Balmilero,1997 Castle High graduate who's performed on Broadway and now stars in the "Hi-5" children's television program on Discovery Kids and TLC, is featured on the CD "It's a Hi-5 Christmas," including a song about a Hawaiian Christmas, "Santa Wear Your Shorts." Balmilero told Today Show host Katie Couric she recorded the song for her Hawaii fans ...
Honolulu Pops' conductor Matt Catingub did the arrangements, musical performances and wrote an original song for George Clooney's "Good Night, and Good Luck." The soundtrack album is nominated for a Grammy in the Jazz Vocal Album category, which also features award-winning vocalist Dianne Reeves, who performed with the Pops orchestra last season.
While Catingub is planning not to attend the February ceremonies in Los Angeles, the orchestra's artistic adviser, JoAnn Falletta, will. She's a nominee in the Instrumental Soloist Performance (with Orchestra) category for her performance of "Eventide," with soloist Thomas Stacy and the London Symphony Orchestra ...
