SKYLiNE Birthday Parties
PARTY LIKE IT'S YER BIRTHDAY!: Kaleikina Akaka, left, was one of several people celebrating birthdays at the big SKYLiNE party Dec. 3 at the Hanohano Room. Briana Spagnuolo, center, and Maria Ananda were among the first to congratulate her. Akaka celebrated later by dancing on a table.

AFTER MIDNIGHT: Kean Katsunuma, left, waited a few minutes past midnight before congratulating Gavin MacElwee on celebrating another birthday. MacElwee explained that the wait was necessary because he had been born very early in the morning of Dec. 4, and so SKYLiNE didn't become his "birthday party" until midnight.

|
A LONG WAY FROM NORWAY: Jonas Sundet, left, visiting from Norway, was introduced to the SKYLiNE scene by Tasha Kobashigawa and celebrity dentist Alvin Chung. Sundet made his SKYLiNE debut on a great night. The crowd was interesting, the service was good and the music was excellent.

ALL PART OF THE JOB: Ryan Laskey, manager of the Sheraton Waikiki, combined business with pleasure when he stopped by the Hanohano Room and talked with Joy Macapinlac, left, Janice Tabuso, Katra Cuskanden and Nicole Prumeller. The next SKYLiNE party will be Saturday.

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, KEITH: Hanohano Room general manager Keith Mallini, right, helped SKYLiNE promoter Flash Hansen and waitress Keiko Trenton deliver another bottle of champagne as the birthday celebrations continued well past midnight (FYI, Mallini's birthday was yesterday. Happy birthday, Keith).
