80th birthday party at Lanikuhonua Dec. 23. I was surprised when she answered and said she was in Las Vegas at the Golden Nugget, celebrating the 77th birthday of Sonny's brother, Mahi Beamer
, the well-known singer-pianist. Taking part in the fun were Mahi's sister, Sunbeam Beamer
of Palm Springs, who turns 78 tomorrow; his cousin, "Uncle" Keola Beamer
