Free expo runs as lead-in to marathon
"Lost" stars Naveen Andrews and Evangeline Lilly, ukulele master Jake Shimabukuro and actor Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa join a host of sports legends at free Honolulu Marathon Expo events Wednesday through Saturday at the Hawai'i International Convention Center.
The expo opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m., except on Saturday when it closes at 6 p.m. Call 358-4417. The marathon is Sunday.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Concert and luau: With Jake Shimabukuro and Riders on the Storm; 6:30 p.m. Friday, Waikiki Shell. Open to marathon entrants only; $25.
Race Day Concert: With Shimabukuro, Believe, Na Kama, Sean Naauao, Maunalua; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Kapiolani Park Bandstand. Free.
WEDNESDAY
12:30 p.m.: Screening of "Road 88," Japanese film including scenes from the 2003 Honolulu Marathon. (A marathon highlights video also will show every half-hour.)
THURSDAY
9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: "Legends of Running" features Frank Shorter, 1972 Olympic marathon gold medalist; Ian Stewart, 1972 Olympic 5,000-meter bronze medalist; Alberto Salazar, former marathon world record holder; Greg Meyer, last American to win Boston Marathon; Cosmas Ndeti, three-time Boston Marathon winner and course record-holder.
12:30 p.m.: "Road 88" screening
FRIDAY
9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: "Legends of Running"
