"Be Social Fridays: Car Club Edition"

The O Lounge welcomes Scion Evolution Hawaii as November's featured car club at the monthly "Be Social Fridays: Car Club Edition."

The fun starts at 7 p.m. in the club's parking lot, where vehicles will be on display. Things move inside at 9 p.m. for the 21-and-over crowd, with DJs spinning tunes and more go-go dancers than you can shake a stick at.

As an added bonus, all college students and ladies with valid ID are spared the cover charge before 11 p.m.

"2005 Reggae Vibe"

With a new album hitting store shelves this weekend, local favorites B.E.T. descend on Pipeline Cafe to headline the "2005 Reggae Vibe."

They'll be joined by Katch Ah Vibe and Kahiau at the 18-and-over concert. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday

"Mai Tai Rumble 2005"

The annual "Mai Tai Rumble" band competition winds up early next week, with the second round semifinals on Monday, and the finals on Tuesday night.

Besides getting a glimpse of the best up-and-coming bands Honolulu has to offer, stick around for the "Mai Tai Aftershock," a post-contest concert featuring established local acts.

B.E.T. will play on Monday, with Natural Vibrations performing on Tuesday.
