Billy Olds puts Arabic language skills to good use

Billy Olds, a retired Army colonel and former Green Beret, is in big demand in the Mideast because he speaks Arabic. Billy, who spent the past 14 months in Kuwait and Iraq working for an American company, sends word that he signed up to work another year in Iraq as of Oct. 22. This time, he will be country director of the Army's linguist program, which furnishes translators and interpreters throughout Iraq for the Army and some Marine personnel. "I will be responsible for the 6,000 linguists and staff we have all over the country," Billy said ...
