THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII'S Academy for Creative Media is holding auditions this week for 100 to 150 short films, many of which will screen in film festivals around the world.
These short films offer a rare opportunity for local actors to develop skills in film and gain professional recognition.
The academy is looking for men and women in the age groups of 50 to 80, 31 to 49 and 18 to 30, as well as boys and girls ages 6 to 17. Older local actors are especially encouraged to audition.
