Carey concerts canceled
Songstress Mariah Carey's Dec. 10 and 12 concerts at the Stan Sheriff Center have been canceled.
Promoter Bob Peyton of BPE Productions issued a press release Saturday stating that American Entertainment International, which contracted with BPE to handle Carey's concerts, apologized for the cancellation.
"Due to circumstances beyond their control, AEI was not able to meet Mariah Carey's requirements in a timely manner," the statement read.
Ticket sales had been delayed to reconfigure seating at the Stan Sheriff Center to accommodate Carey's new in-the-round concert format.
