Public libraries mark book week

The state's public libraries celebrate Children's Book Week with free performances next week by Faustwork Mask Theatre of Toronto, Canada.

"The Mask Messenger," combines monologue and physical comedy to explore the many uses of masks. For ages 7 and up. Performances:

Monday: 3 p.m., Naalehu; 6 p.m. Pahala

Tuesday: 1 p.m., Mountain View

Next Wednesday: 6:30 p.m., Mililani

Nov. 17: 3 p.m., Kaimuki; 6:30 p.m., Liliha

Nov. 22: 3 p.m., Pearl City; 6 p.m., Wahiawa

Nov. 23: 2:45 p.m., Molokai
