Two groups of party promoters, 3 Sexy Guys and Hawaiian Hurricane Productions, are teaming up to present the Bud Light Surf & Roots Fest.
With four stages to choose from and a full eight hours of entertainment, this ambitious blending of the fourth annual Surf Fest and the second annual Roots Fest should be one massive marathon block party.
Alpha Blondy will share the main stage with O-Shen and Hawaii reggae pioneer Maacho, plus Red Degree, Dub Conscious, the Ionz and Souljahs.

Dawn Penn of "No No No" fame is flying in from London to headline the second stage. Humble Soul, Ooklah the Moc and Hawaii-based roots reggae purists THC (also known as the Hearticle Crew) will represent the diversity of the local reggae scene as her supporting acts.
Emirc and his Flip the Bird crew are scheduled to headline the Hip-Hop and R&B Island in another part of the park. Empire Sound will preside in the Dancehall Jungle.
Ask for directions when you get there, or just follow the noise.
