EVER ROCKING: Art Alexakis, leader and resident composer of Everclear, was in top form Saturday as he led the band through a high-impact 80-minute performance at Pipeline Cafe. "Volvo Driving Soccer Mom," "Father of Mine" and "I Will Buy You a New Life" were three of the musical highlights, but Alexakis also entertained the enthusiastic crowd with his comments between songs. "No crowd surfing -- the '90s are over," he told the fans after noticing oblivious moshers jostling women near the stage. Alexakis dedicated his solo acoustic version of "Brown Eyed Girl" to his daughter, and "Loser Makes Good" to George W. Bush.

GUYS AND DOLL: Tina Shelton embraced her leading men, Kalani Brady, left, and Lenny Klompus, Saturday as the cast and crew of "Guys and Dolls" partied at Shanghai Bistro. Klompus starred opposite Shelton as gambler Sky Masterson the first two weeks of the run. Brady played Masterson for the final weekend.
