The band Entertainment Weekly called "one of rock's most deserving success stories" brings their memorable and emotionally evocative songs back to Hawaii. Led by frontman Art Alexakis (below), Everclear returns for another gig this weekend.
One of the most outstanding concert moments in recent years was when members of Lit and Jimmie's Chicken Shack jumped on stage with Alexakis at Poi Fest in 2000 for a go at "Sin City."
Monday
Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger
6 p.m. at Pipeline Cafe
Tickets: $25 and $40

Pipeline Cafe keeps things rocking into next week, when punksters Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger return to the islands for a double-dip at Pipeline Cafe on Monday night.
Both bands played here in 2002, with previous visits dating back to the late '90s. Monday's all-ages show should be fun, since there's no party scheduled afterwards. That means no shortened sets, and no curfew at 11 p.m. Score!
