Jeans destined to be collectibles
Designer Zac Posen's collaboration with the popular denim label 7 for All Mankind has resulted in three exclusive women's denim styles created for Neiman Marcus. The limited-edition jeans will be available for two days only at NM's annual "Downtown: The HIP Event," tomorrow and Saturday, showcasing the hottest urban trends and designers of the season.
The jeans, priced from $450 to $995, feature a mix of embroidery, Posen's "Z" logo, 7 for All Mankind rivets and, in a $700 version, a semiprecious bead and stone "Heiress Tassel" locked to the jeans belt loop with a key provided at purchase.
Quantities are limited, so customers can purchase only one of each style.
Those who make a minimum purchase of $350 in Women's (Level One) or Men's Contemporary Sportswear (Level Three) will receive a gift of a limited-edition Joystick top for women or a designer gift for men.
Try Kérastase at First Friday
J Salon will demonstrate the results of the exclusive Kérastase luxury hair-care treatment line at tomorrow's First Friday downtown Gallery Walk.
The free event runs from 7 to 9 p.m., featuring hosted cocktails by Grey Goose Vodka. Models will be chosen at random from among the guests for a free hair analysis, custom Kérastase treatment and style blow-dry.
J is one of the top salons selected by the company nationwide to feature the hair-care line that's been a hit with beauty editors and such stars as Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Aniston.

Price may be right at Ward Warehouse
Victoria Ward merchants are clearing shelves and racks to make room for Christmas merchandise. That means it's sales time for budget-oriented fashion enthusiasts.
Help them clean house 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Kewalo and Kakaako conference rooms on the second floor of Ward Warehouse, and merchants will have items marked down 50 percent or more.
Participants include MisFortune, Novel-T World, Allure, Craft Flair, Bobbi & Guy Beauty Supply, Paul Brown Salon & Day Spa and more, including goodies from Honolulu Chocolate Co.
Not everyone will be able to fit in the rooms, so Blue Ginger, Crazy Shirts Outlet, Mamo Howell, Silver & Socks by Noe, and Sonia Daniel House of Style will be offering sales of their own.
