KEY INGREDIENT
Wasabi mayo could be addictive
This mayo has one tasty kick that goes well on sandwiches, salads, and of course, sushi.
Wasabi mayonnaise is the latest wasabi product -- and it already has some people addicted. A dollop drizzled with a bit of soy sauce makes the perfect dipping sauce for everything from cucumbers to fish. Or simply add a bit to tuna salad or potato and macaroni salads for a unique kick.
The mayonnaise comes bottled in various sizes, priced at $3 to $5. It is a light, creamy green and is by no means wimpy. Natural wasabi and horseradish give it good heat.
Of course, you could always mix wasabi and mayonnaise yourself, but this saves the effort. Look for different brands of wasabi mayonnaise, such as Dynasty and Shirakiku, at Asian markets and some supermarkets.
