» A Castle Resorts promotion offering Hawaii residents a free compact rental car and free gas when they book a stay at its isle properties has rates that range from $97 on Oahu to $179 on Kauai, until Dec. 15. The last line of a Page A1 story in yesterday's afternoon edition was inadvertently cut out.

» A public meeting of the Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization on traffic solutions will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Mayor's Conference Room, third floor at Honolulu Hale, not Oct. 4 as incorrectly stated on Page A5 in Wednesday's afternoon edition.

» The correct name of an elderly man bilked of his money and property in 2000 by a Hilo couple is Hon Chow Chock. A Page A3 article Wednesday gave an incorrect spelling.

» Donations to the family of Saydee Miller, the 10-month-old baby killed in a car crash near Waimea Bay, and her grandmother Rhonda Teixeira may be mailed to Friends of Saydee and Rhonda, P.O. Box 701133, Kapolei, HI 96709. Donations should not be dropped off at American Savings Bank branches as reported yesterday in a Page A4 story.
