The effects of this week's highly anticipated south swell could be seen at sunset yesterday near Ko Olina. Surf along south facing shores are expected to build to heights of 14- to 16-foot faces, with locally higher sets today. A large south swell will build through today, peaking today and tomorrow, and continuing through Saturday, with surf heights above warning levels -- 15-foot faces for south-facing shores. A small northwest swell is possible on Sunday and Monday.
