At Honolulu Hale yesterday afternoon, members of the Honolulu Police and Fire departments and Emergency Medical Services attended the Fourth Annual Commemoration of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The ceremony included a wreath-laying dedication at the eternal flame, tolling of the fire bell and a pass in review with American flags planted in the ground. Americans remember 9/11, with Katrina fresh in their minds.
