Florida breakbeat star DJ J-Break (below) makes a special trip to Honolulu this weekend, and will be the featured DJ at Indigo's 11th birthday celebration as part of the restaurant's "Get Fresh!" weekly.

Joining J-Break will be DJ IZ; if you can't make it on Friday, J-Break will also spin at the Wave Waikiki on Saturday night.

Veteran Honolulu promoter Darryl Hill kicks off a new party this week, aimed at Oahu's military crowd.

Hawaii's own Aulstate will be joined by Los Angeles-based hip-hop group CO for an evening of entertainment guaranteed to get that booty moving.

Hill also reminds local residents that Schofield Barracks does allow civilians past the front gate - with a valid driver's license and current registration and safety check, of course.
