AND FREEBIES, TOO: Jason Ulep of the Hypersquad Dance Company caught up with Juliet Lighter, left, and April Stoltz. The Ocean Club filled up fast as usual. Some lucky partyers received free prepaid phone cards as part of a beverage promotion. Kim Gennaula said she and her husband, Guy Hagi, were able to enjoy the Piranha Room party because they'd persuaded their baby sitter to let them stay out late.

PARTY WITHIN A PARTY: Pauline Sueur, left, and Philana Bouvier arrived fashionably on time and reserved two prime tables in a secluded area near the back of the club. They were part of a larger group celebrating a night out and needed plenty of room.

ALOHA, KAITLYN: Ocean Club doorman Ryan Siebring gave Kaitlyn Metcalf a hug as she enjoyed her last Piranha Room till Christmas. Metcalf and several friends left for mainland colleges this week.
