Danny Kaleikini, right, embraced Aaron Piersol, an Olympic three-time swimming gold medal winner in the 2004 Athens Olympics, yesterday at the fourth annual Duke's Ho'olaule'a. The celebration, held in honor of the 115th anniversary of Duke Kahanamoku's birth, began with a traditional Hawaiian greeting at the Waikiki statue of Kahanamoku and kicks off five days of events. It concludes Sunday with a special Kahanamoku-themed Brunch on the Beach.
