Steve Carell and Catherine Keener star in "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," opening Friday.

Movies opening tomorrow:

"Supercross": A rift divides two highly competitive brothers -- one cautious, the other with more natural talent but who takes too many risks -- as they both pursue victory on the Supercross motorcycle racing circuit. (PG-13)

Opening Friday:

"The 40-Year-Old Virgin": In Entertainment Weekly, director and co-writer Judd Apatow describes this film as "an entire movie about a man avoiding sex under the guise of trying to have it. It's the first performance-anxiety comedy of the new century." Steve Carell co-wrote the movie and stars as the titular sheltered nice guy whose co-workers try to help him get some, um, experience. Catherine Keener co-stars as the divorcee and single mother he eventually dates -- a relationship based on a mutual no-sex policy. (R)

"Red Eye": Horror director Wes Craven goes the thriller route with the story of a young woman on a cross-country flight who gets caught up in the murderous plot of the killer seated next to her. Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy star. (PG-13)

"Valiant": Disney releases a British CG-animated feature about a brave but undersize carrier pigeon in World War II who evades Nazi falcons to deliver vital messages behind enemy lines. Ewan McGregor, Jim Broadbent, John Cleese, Tim Curry and Rupert Everett head the voice cast. (G)
