Take a walk on the wild side at Fusion Waikiki this weekend, as the club celebrates 16 years of debauchery in Honolulu.

Billed as Fusion's "Sweet Sixteen at the Candy Shop," the party will feature a tribute to "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and entertainment by the Gender Bender Lipgloss Revue and the Men of Fusion.

Friday

"Can't Stop Won't Stop" Release Party, 9 p.m. at Next Door. Cover: $10. Call 550-0496.

Hawaii-born author Jeff Chang returns home to lead a reading and discussion of his latest book, "Can't Stop Won't Stop," a history of hip-hop in America that recently won a 2005 American Book Award.

Besides a literary discussion, this event also features the Hawaii debut of DJ Chief Xcel (of Blackalicious fame) and guest sets by the Nocturnal Sound Krew's DJ Eskae and San Francisco's DJ Coop D'Ville.

Saturday

"Naked Honolulu," 9 p.m. at the Wave Waikiki. Cover: $20. Call 941-0424, Ext. 12.

Renowned house DJ Richard "Humpty" Vission headlines the second annual visit to Honolulu by the Los Angeles-based party "Naked."
