Agency sues roofer over
work done on Maui

WAILUKU » The state Regulated Industries Office has filed a lawsuit against a Honolulu man who allegedly failed to perform roofing jobs on Maui up to warranty standards and had no license as a roofing contractor.

The suit was filed Wednesday in Maui Circuit Court against Stephen Miller, whose business is known as Stephen's.

The lawsuit names seven Kahului and Lahaina residents who allegedly paid Miller a total of $25,300 for various kinds of roofing work.

Miller could not be reached for comment.
